Hey everyone. You know those times when you have a VERY strong feeling to share something? It kind of feels like a "WHAM" in your heart? I had that today. So please, anyone who has or will have children in their home, please read this. It was a wake-up call for me... I don't know how many times I've pulled Valerie off her bookcase (yes, she is climbing chairs, stairs and bookcases at 8 1/2 months) but didn't imagine what COULD happen if I wasn't there, if I wasn't fast enough.
Kim at Life, Light, Laughter and Chocolate shared *her story* with us back in December. I will admit, I knew the dangers and I have read the stories... but to me they were just stories. To read what she went through and continues to go through made it so real for me. I can assure you that Brad and I will be securing our furniture. I ask everyone to share Kim's story on Facebook, blogs, everywhere. If this is what it takes for people to have that "wham" moment, then so be it. For the sake of every sweet child, please share.
